Family Profile for Gilbert and Colleen Tenia

Colleen Tenia is a fully trained secretary and worked for some time in the private sector before entering the Government service as a clerk/stenographer. She worked there for ten years before joining Wycliffe.
She serves in the main office of Wycliffe Caribbean as the Head of the Personnel Department where she encourages and assists applicants through the application process.
Her motivating vision is to see Caribbean applicants become career members of Wycliffe and take field assignments focused on bringing the Word of God to people groups who have never had it in their language.

Colleen is married to Gilbert. They have recently been blessed with the coming of Chloe who is a great joy to both of them. Colleen works full time in the main office, performing the critical task of processing an increasing number of Caribbean applicants into membership. Although Gilbert is not a member of Wycliffe, and runs his own construction contracting firm, he is delighted that Colleen is able to carry on a ministry with Wycliffe. Their financial situation, however, is such that Colleen cannot work as an unpaid volunteer, and she needs some financial partners to help support her in this ministry.
