Profile for Reslyn June Simmonds

Reslyn June Simmonds has an MA in Counselling Psychology and a BA in Education. She also has a teacher certificate in Spanish and Mathematics. She did her Education degree in Mexico which contributed greatly to her being fluent in Spanish. She is currently completing work on a PhD in Foreign Language Education.

She has taught both Mathematics and Spanish in High School. She has been training Spanish teachers for secondary schools for the past 14 years.

Presently living in Jamaica, as a Wycliffe member, she is open to serve God as a Bible translator wherever He leads. Her current and most immediate interest is in the creole languages of the West Indies with a primary interest in helping to translate God's Word into Jamaican Patois/Patwa.

June's motivating vision is for the rest of her life to be used by God to bring His Word to at least some of the millions of people around the world who still do not have it in the language they understand best.
